Two murders on the Epic Odyssey, a retired Texas banker, and a beautiful socialite converge to put a damper on the pair's romantic vacation when they are recruited to help solve the gruesome murders before the ship's arrival in Hawaii. At the center of the mystery lies the coveted Star of Kings gemstone, infamous for its history of murder and intrigue going back centuries. The gemstone is stolen aboard the ship and may be the perfect motive for murder-Barton and Laura discover many passengers who just might be willing to kill for the priceless jewel. The two must ascertain who's guilty before the cruise ends.
